About the event
Trad Synopsis: From their home in the Donegal Gaeltacht, gifted fiddle player Shóna McAnally and her little brother Mickey take to the road with a troupe of wandering musicians, on a cross-country journey of adventure, romance, and musical exploration. This event will be accompanied by Live Irish Trad Musicians Eimear & Conor.
We’re delighted to welcome local musicians Eimear (whistle) and Conor (fiddle) to kick off the evening with a relaxed set of traditional Irish music before the film begins.
Both are regulars on the Belfast trad scene, playing sessions in venues including The Sunflower, Northern Lights, and The Black Box. Tonight they’ll be joining us in the pavilion, creating a relaxing atmosphere with a selection of beautiful Irish melodies while you grab some food, settle in, and get comfortable before the screening.
