About the event
Films from Seoul kicks off with The Host (2006), Bong Joon-ho’s genre-bending monster film that blends social satire, family drama and blockbuster thrills. Long before Parasite, Bong established his signature style here: tense, darkly funny, and politically sharp, with moments of real emotional weight.
Alongside the screening, the evening will feature a curated Korean-inspired menu from Seoul Food and Studio, designed to complement the film and create a full cinema-and-cuisine experience.
On the night, guests can enjoy:
Korean popcorn with gochugaru on arrival
Korean fried chicken taco with doenjang mayonnaise, kimchi and scallion
Korean corn dogs
