Fallen Leaves (2023) is a deadpan Finnish tragicomedy directed by Aki Kaurismäki that follows two lonely, working-class souls—Ansa and Holappa—who meet by chance in a Helsinki karaoke bar. Amidst economic hardship, alcoholism, and miscommunication, they attempt to find their first and only love in a world that often gets in their way
