Join us for a powerful documentary celebrating one of Ireland’s most provocative literary voices. Blue Road: The Edna O'Brien Story follows the 93-year-old writer as she reflects on her remarkable life, from controversial novels and scandalous love affairs to international literary acclaim. Told through O'Brien’s personal journals and brought to life by actress Jessie Buckley, the film also features commentary from writers including Gabriel Byrne and Walter Mosley.
This screening is presented in partnership with Belfast-based female book club Lit(erature) to the Tit.
