About the event
Set in 1962 Poland, Ida follows Anna, a young novice nun who discovers she is Jewish just before taking her vows. She leaves her convent to meet her only surviving relative, Wanda, an embittered, alcoholic former state prosecutor. Together, they travel the Polish countryside to uncover the truth about their family’s tragic death during the Nazi occupation.
